 Now Hiring: Wildland REMS Rope Technician (Seasonal On-Call)

The Tenmile Rural Fire Protection District is seeking qualified Rope Technicians to serve on our Wildland Rescue and Emergency Medical Support (REMS) Team.

This is a seasonal, on-call position. Work is available only when the district's REMS Team is mobilized and dispatched. No guaranteed work hours or employment outside of deployments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Rope Technician certification from a recognized certifying body
  • FFT2 (Firefighter Type 2) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EMT or higher certification (preferred but not required)
  • Wildland firefighting experience
  • Previous wildland fire deployments

Compensation:
Pay is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and certifications.
