TENMILE RURAL FIRE DISTRICT IS HIRING
Fireline EMTs & Fireline Paramedics
Tenmile Rural Fire District is seeking qualified Fireline EMTs and Fireline Paramedics for seasonal on-call deployment assignments during the 2026 fire season.
These positions support wildland fire operations and emergency incidents requiring medical personnel. Individuals selected for these positions will be placed on an availability roster for local, regional, and out-of-area deployments as opportunities arise.
These are seasonal, on-call positions. No guaranteed hours, work assignments, or employment outside of deployments are expected at this time.
Minimum Qualifications
Fireline EMT
- Current EMT license (Oregon preferred)
- NWCG FFT2 qualification preferred
- Ability to meet agency and incident assignment requirements
Fireline Paramedic
- Current Paramedic license (Oregon preferred)
- NWCG FFT2 qualification preferred
- Ability to meet agency and incident assignment requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior wildland fire experience
- Current NWCG qualifications
- Incident medical unit experience
- Ability to deploy on short notice
Compensation
Pay is dependent on qualifications, certifications, assignment type, and incident reimbursement rates.
