TRFD is a 90% volunteer fire district. Volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel are an integral part of the district and the services that we provide. Without volunteers, we would not exist.
These men and women are members of the community who offer to give their time to their local fire department for little compensation. They are expected to respond to emergency calls and receive the proper training, just like a career firefighter. The difference is they usually do it in their time off from their paid jobs.

Tenmile Rural Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Tenmile Rural Fire District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
