G.O. was born and raised in Tenmile and attended Tenmile Elementary School and Douglas High. After graduating from Douglas High he attended SWOCC on a baseball scholarship and finished his education at OSU, receiving his degree in Forestry Engineering. He went ot work for the DNR in Washington State before moving back to Tenmile to raise his family after accepting a job with ODOT. He is married with three children. G.O. enjoys watching his children play sports, watching OSU games and hunting and fishing. G.O. was elected as a Board Member in May 2021, following his father's footsteps.
